The display is about 30 x 24 mm. This is 1.18 x 0.94 inches. Using a resolution of 96 x 65 pixels, we have 81.4 x 69.1 dpi. I think the standard for internet images (72 dpi) is enough.

About downloading images and ringtones, you have to put it in a published folder (I created one for me at www.pensar.com.br/~rafael/nokia). When you connect to the internet using the phone and point to this address, you simply browse trought the pictures or ringtones and open the desired one. The phone asks if you want to download and save it.

Pictures are .gif, .jpg and .png. I only tried .mid polyphonic ringtones.

Hope this help.
