Nokia 3330 switches off after a few secs..

If battery is taken out & put in again it stays on for a few secs but as soon as any key is pressed it switches off, no longer charges.It's not the battery & it has not been water damaged, any ideas guys???

try to look to contacts in phone .
the batery contact with phone.
try to move them up and then it'll work

And does it work with covers off?

Yeah, sometimes the cover can put pressure on the power button causing it to be pushed in! The phone will remain on until it is triggered by a keypress!;)

Great input as always guy's, problem seems to have cleared as you have said the case seems to have ben causing unecessary pressure on the power button, not seen this fault before, but i will know next time ;)
