Software malfunction pls help

Hello,
I have installed a few new apps on my 9210i,
like irremote, eInternet, and XTM emulator, and doom,
While I was trying to install the Doom, I haven't made anough free memory to install the doom data, and it has been installed partially,
After I tried to run half installed doom, some strange things happened.

After rebooting there was a "Note Was not found" note displayed on the screen and is there after every restart. The infrared is activated exectly after start of the system and CAN NOT be disabled. The infrared is functional, but It can't connect with computer.
A lot of aplications can't run, and NO aplication can be removed because the system freeze when I try to remove it.
The remote link program (I don't know if it's original nokia or not) can teoreticaly make theese problems with IR, but after I try to start it there is a message "NOTE not found" again on my screen.

I have absolutely no idea how to repai this.
Please someone help.
Just teoreticaly ideas will be very helpfull.

Damn, this sounds like major damagde to system files... Do you have only infrared connection or do you own a cable (at least DLR-2) for connect 9210 to PC? If so, try to connect via cable and try to uninstall doom via PC Suite...

But i really think some of your system data got lost! In that case you have to format communicator (by pressing Ctrl+Shift+F simultaniously on startup) and format MMC by using a Card Reader (if you can´t access filemanager anymore)...

Reinstall everything and your problems SHOULD be gone. If not, visit a nokia service center...

I suggest you to wait for more replys, we got some real pros in here, maybe one of em got a better solution;)

Why did u try running a partially installed application? :-)

anyway before you try formatting it try deleting .ini files that might help

also like smart said, can u access the commy via the pc suite using the cable? if yes try uninstalling the game? if deleting ini files doesnt help then I think u will have to format the thing.

if u can connect via cable then load windows explorer go to the folder that u have installed doom in and delete the .ini file c if that helps

via window explorer goto system\autoexec and delete whats in there

I think the deleting of ini files will work...but try it anyway

Thank you for posts,
Looks like nothing happend when I'm trying to use the CTRL+SHIFT+F and CTRL+SHIFT+I commands at startup.
The bad thing is that I don't own DLR-2 cable yet ( I have just the normal M2BUS cable), I use the infrared connection allways.

I can access file manager but at most cases when I try to delete something, it freezes, sometimes (after 10 mins) it's able to delete something. I have already removed the doom data, but it wasn't helpfull.

My problem is that I don't know where to find the ini or sys files which are used by the system. And don't know when I'll format everything if I'll be able to connect it by the infrared. And I also don't own all nokia data suit (the essential programs used in communicator).

Looks like I have to visit the nokia : (

I think the problem is not the doom, but the Remote link program that's in the controll panel. Do someone know where is stored the datas of the Remote Link program???

ctrl+shift+f would have formatted your device?!?!?! and left it blank

Hello,
I visited Nokia yesterday, they somehow formated my communicator, but looked like there was not so much for formationg, because 80% of system datas was corrupted - WOW!

I haven't any idea how that could happened by installing doom!

Now, I'm really aware that it could happened again,
so, the only thing I need for the future is "All Nokia 9210i data 5.00". DO you have any ideay where I could download all nokia data??
