Guys,
I have been reading nokiafree.org forums for three days and now I am totally confused...
I guess, I have some understanding of what I
Can anybody answer my stupid questions, please?
Preamble:
I have bought Nokia 3360 on eBay to replace my old one.
"AT&T" is the service provider (SP) for my old phone.
The new one has "US Cellular".
Questions:
I can't activate new phone with AT&T until I have changed SP, right?
I assume 3360 is TDMA & DCT4 phone, right?
Does this (or any TDMA) phone has EMEI code? (It does have ESN code!)
Both phones haven't got any SIM cards.
Do I need to unlock SOC to change SP?
Do I need Phoenix Service Software for TDMA to do that?
Do I need cracked Phoenix version (for TDMA) and a cable to connect phone and PC? 3360 has IR port, but it wouldn't help, right?
If I dial *3001#12345# on the new phone
NAM1 menu has
"Home system ID" and "Home SOC" submenus
The old phone doesn't have "Home SOC"
If I change "Home SOC", would it change SP for the phone?
Thank you,
AP
