Hi,
My DCT4 phone (6610) has got a security code set by vodafone, from which my company bought the phone and contract. Now we've changed company (contracts and phones), I am keeping the old phone for personal use. However, it's got a security code, only known to vodafone, and I can't put my pay as you go SIM. Vodafone charges a ridiculous ammount to reset it. I've been learning about the matter, and have found out the only solution is to but a F/Mbus cable, which seem to come quite expensive, and reset the phone. Before I consider doing something like that, I wouldn't mind if someone could confirm this as the only option, appart from somebody else having the cable and doing it for me, of course.
Thanks
(damn vodafone!)
