What cable did you use? is if F/MBus Cable or The Flasher Cable..... F/MBus Cable is connected to serial/COMM port.. and the Flasher Cable is connected to LPT Por t.... about your ps2 cable it needs and adaptor with electronics inside.. download my file attacment.. which your USB converter dosnt have...

If I understand it right, you just you used a cable without the electronics (as smarkies mentioned) from the phone to the PC or simply just wires connected to your USB port. You should use a data cable and maybe a converter from serial to USB port.

Hope this help you.

Hi N3t,

Actually, I also use these type of cables for flashing and for f/m bus purposes but of course I have also flasher and f/m bus cables which has a female ps2 connector.

I think dejan flasher cable set is also using this cables because you can easily change the type of cable for the phone you are working with.

You can search here for the schemes of the flasher and data cables. With a little help of soldering iron and handful of components you can also make your own "cables" just as I did.

Hope I can be of help.
