The name of the program is "DCT3RPv3".
This error appears when i try to open it, so i can't open the program...
How do you know this is a good program?
I'm simply going to advise you use a more well known program, such as Rolis or kNok :)
I've never used the said program, so I can't help with that though :(
Cheers
Bob

I know that is a good program because i already used it on win98,but now i have xp.
I have been searching a solution for the problem and i discovered that he is related to unregisted ocx files. If this is true who knows how to register ocx files?

Your problem is XP, not ocx files! Try installing userport, but like Bobl said, why not use the "Good" programs like everyone else!? I have never even heard of your program!;)

try the following...
in RUN type:
regsvr32 MSCOMM32.OCX
regsvr32 comct232.ocx
regsvr32 comdlg32.ocx
regsvr32 Msid.ocx
regsvr32 ctlist.ocx
Type ONE at a time and then Enter. This reregisters the ocx
file(s), it does no harm if its already reregistered, so just try it.

Dude, seriously... save yourself and others the hassle and Use Rolis!;)
You told us that you are using USERport but have you already set your com port's resource setting in USERPORT?, if not you have to set your com port's resource address in user port.
Settings at USER PORT
if your data cable you are using is:
COM1: add 3F8-3FF at the space provided at All User Mode Processes Grant List and click add
COM2: add 2F8-2FF at the space provided at Through "\\x\Userport" Grant List and click add
Then at the USERPORT.SYS tab, click update...
Flasher Tools Like Rolis or Knok Should Work...

When i click update nothing happens...
I would use rolis 479,but when i start it says:"win2k,winxp users must install userport first. Now flasher sw will not work corretly, except some mbus features".
I'm starting to get crazy :)
when you click update, you will see that the settings entered will be added to the list, and of course, you have to click the START button at the Userport program inorder to activate it, you received that error in ROLIS because you did not activate the USERPORT program by clicking START.
if you click start and you receive the error: userport.sys not found, copy the userport.sys file at
X:\Windows\System32\drivers
X: is where your windows drive is.
ok, You do not know how to use the USERPORT program so do the method above plus, you have to manually enter the settings I have given you earlier, if you still have problems, send a private message to me with the results
Hey, I sent you a Private message, view it through your inbox :)
Post Results or Send Me A Private Message And Good Luck!!

I did all the things you told me to do,but when i copy the paste UserPort_SYS(that have "makefile";"sources" and a text") to the system32/drivers the error userport.sys not found, copy the userport.sys file appears again.
What am i doing wrong?
ok, the filename is wrong, it must be Userport.sys NOT userport_sys (it will NOT really work so it must be Userport.sys) and the folder must be Windows\System32\drivers NOT System32/Drivers, also there are some instances that you have to put it at X:\Windows\System32 directory if you have trouble, download the USERPORT program again from my Thread and read the thread (Again):
http://nokiafree.org/forums/t39748/s.html.
or I will post it here for you.
Then Do What I told you earlier or view the thread
REMEMBER: USERPORT.SYS and NOT USERPORT_Sys
copy location is:
X:\Windows\System32 and
X:\Windows\System32\drivers
Don't Give Up! You Can Make It Work! Just Be Patient! :)

I think its better start from the begining.
The userport that i downloaded from your link as already the adresses 3F8-3FF and 2F8-2FF ,so i dont't have to put them again.
In userport there is a paste called "UserPort_SYS",inside are three files one of them is a text.Is this that i have to copy to x/system32/drivers?
Ist's gettig complicated...
yep, that is my copy so the settings were already placed, anyway to make things easier for you, download this ZIP file extract all the files copy it both to your x:\windows\system32 and x:\windows\system32\drivers directory...
Be Patient. Post Results... Good Luck

I think userport is now working cuz no message shows up when i click start and if i click start again says driver already started...but the error "system error &h800700e...doesn't desappear from the program that i wan't to use,so i think this is not the solution for that :( .
I am going to teste now rolis to see if it's working on my xp or not.
Thanks 4 the help
Well, don't force using BETA-TEST GSM TOOLS on Windows XP, all Dct3prv versions are In Beta, made by a Filipino named NEB (tell me if I'm wrong) there are many tools out there which functions better than DCT3 Repair Partner like ROLIS, KNOK, or just look at the upper right corner of the website, follow the download link and find TESTED tools which are released in Final Versions.
REMEMBER: BETA-TEST Tools are NOT guaranteed to work 100% and can cause problems to your phone while FINAL VERSIONS of a GSM TOOL is guaranteed to work and NOT damage your phone.

P.S: I think we have different version of that BETA TEST program, can you post it for others to try use that tool?

No, not userport...
DCTRepair by Neb is a MBUS program that have identical functions as NokTools plus a couple of selftests. So, no need for userport. Set the prgram to Win98.

i have that same problem on 3-4 different softwares and i also have win98 installed and it has problem on both it just started happening a while back it was fine once on win98 and not on xp but both are now getting that problem so it has to be a system error.
First of all, I just wanted to clear out that I never suggested USERPORT inorder to fix the System Error of the DCT3 Repair partner v3.0 program, I posted the USERPORT setup because socrates cannot run ROLIS or KNOK on his machine that is why I posted the USERPORT usage, anyway, if you get a system error on the DCT3 Repair Partner program on both Windows 98 and XP, the primary reason is that BETA programs have bugs which causes not to run on some system mode.
So, before using any program, make sure that it is NOT in BETA mode so that you can avoid too much hassle, especially if you are NOT experienced in running such BETA programs, to know programs that work 100%, search the FORUM
