the best solution to get the latest .wav ringtones, is in my opinion, to take some mp3-files, cut them with an app like wavelab, pro tools or whatever you wanna use, convert them to wav and send them via bluetooth or IR to your phone.

You should convert them to mono instead of stereo and resample with a lower ratio

have fun.

a.)try http://www.steinberg.net and search for a demo version
b.)search with emule
c.)you can use every audio-editing programm... google for freeware / audio editing.

I´m gonna search my computer for it and if i find somthing, i´m gonna upload it in a yahoo group and post the link here.

cheers

Just put a CD in your CD-ROM drive and record the desired part you want with the standard WIN recorder, very easy.

I also have a few nice ones in my YGroup.

A cd ? Why do i burn a cd for it . The music is in my harddrive . It's ridiculous to burn a cd for a ringtone.

1.) File/open/Wave
2.) Select the part of the song you like.
3.) Ctrl+C
4.) File/new/wave
5.) Select Mono/16Bit/44.1khz
6.) Ctrl+V
7.) Ctrl+E

Save this file on your phone.

the only reason to change the samplerate is to save space on your MMC.
Check Wavlab/Help for details.
and check

Use the 3650 pc suite it converts mp3 -> wav
avi -> 3gp, and more

the best thing it is FREE, and easy

best program i use is cool edit pro and/or cool edit 2000

i have both, and both do the same, convert mp3 to wav(just save as windows PCM format) and you can find in the song the bit u like, copy it and create a new file with that piece of song at any sample rate

i use 32000 8 bit mono as its great quality but a bit on the large side at times

@Wouwz what your saying i cant do, as you need a microphone to record stuff on the standard Windows recorder, it doesnt work!!

cool edit pro/ cool edit 2.0 would be good, except that it isn't available anymore (other than at kazaa or maybe yahoo groups) because they sold out to adobe. check it out: Adobe Audition (http://www.adobe.com/special/products/audition/syntrillium.html)

that sucks.
