Hello everyone,
First post ever on these forums I'm afraid, so if I'm posting this in the wrong section just smack me with something and I'll gladly move it. :)
I recently heard about a company name Lensvelt Medical (or something or the other) in the Netherlands, offering some kind of bluetooth-based blood sugar measuring device, which was capable of automatically telling your bluetooth phone to send an SMS to a certain phone number. That way, the doctor can keep track of the shape patients are in - at least, that's what I heard.
Does anybody have an idea as to how this could be achieved (software wise) if I wanted to create a program for a PDA to do the same (tell my phone to send a standard SMS to a specified number)?
