8210 Problem when receiving SMS in 2 parts

Hi,

I've had this problem with my old soft (5.29) but now I upgraded to 5.31 and I was kinda hoping it would be solved but no luck on that.
When someone sends me a message which is bigger than 160 chars, their phone automaticly splits it in 2 parts.
When I receive it I get one part of the message and the second part is empty.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
My girl has a 6150 (bit older than my 8210) and this one receives everything ok.

Keep trying Flashes! Try a get a FUBU! Possibly from a working phone!;)

I own a 8210 and I flashed it to Firmware 5.31 with custom-made PPM containing German, English and Chinese Simplified + Traditional.

The phone does not split the message. The messages arrive splitted on your 8210, and newer phones, like 3330, 3410 or 3510 automatically merge splitted messages.

My 8210 never had any problems like this.

Could also be your SMS number (Provider)! Try a different sim card in the phone and send a long message to it!?
