3510i polyphonic midi file size!!!!

can anyone tell me if there is a maximum file size for a midi file polyphonic ringtone. I have downloaded a few to my 3510i and the ones under about 10k work fine, but any over 10k i get the message unable to open file. could this be a file size problem or a problem with the midi file itself.

3510i will play midi files with 4 channels maximum. I'm not sure about the maximum midi file size, but I think it's 30kB.

i got midis with 26kb working on my 3510i...

i think it's just the number of channels played at the same time....

Yes i been told its 28kb max and has to be 4 channels otherwise it wont work :confused:

it may have more channels, but the 3510i will only play 4 channels.

well the max size it 35 kb :D that what the proggy say to me when i try to upload bigger files than that :D
