yes the code worked, but i have a problem the phone is unlocked and at work today i put an at&t sim card and it worked. but then i went to cingular today a got a card and it did not work. any ideas???

Is the simcard you bought today been registered and activated?
If the answers yes try this code 7 and then try the sim again...

That means that your phone is fully unlocked mate....
Are you sure this new simcard is activated ??
What do is say when you try to dial out on it ???

Very strange........
What you need to do is speak to GSM COMMUNITY when he comes on. He has a greater knowledge than me and he might get to the bottom of it for you.
Ive never heard of this one happening before mate...

no service means no network coverage from cingular in that area you are

i was in the cingular store, all the gsm phones had service except my

well i just came from my friends house who is a gsm customer with cingular, i took his card out (nokia 3595) and put my phone (unlocked 6610) and it still does not work. so maybe my phone is bad? any ideas? thanx for the help cabbslad71 and gsm community :confused:
