Broken 3310

I have a broken nokia 3310. It said 'Insert Sim' with a sim already in. I took the battery out and then put it back in and now the phone wont come on and wont charge.

For some odd reason I stuck it in the freezer for about 10 minutes and when I took it out it came on and said contact service. Then it went off again.

I tried it again and now all it does when i put it in the freezer is come on for 20 seconds and then go off. I dont want to do this again because it isn't normal.

What is wrong with the phone and why does it come on when i freeze it? How can i fix it? I have a data cable for it but don't know what to do to fix it.

Applying the laws of physics (probably a waste of time), putting it in the freezer will do one of two things (Or both):

1) Contract the metal inside, maybe this will make better connecitons?

2) Cause moisture build up inside

Seems like the phone needs a good clean, take a look at the FAQ and some cleanings threads using the search function.
