Photographer hep: keeps asking for reg. code

I'm reposting this since my earlier post got embedded into some other thread!! Her it goes again:

I had installed the trial version of photgrapher last month. This month when the trial period expired I uninstalled the trial version and intalled the cracked version obtained from one of the yahoo groups. Although the cracked version works fine and accepts any key for registering, the problem I have is that everytime I close and reopen the app I have to enter the key each time.

When I installed the same file on a friends phone it worked fine on his. The only diiference is that my friend had never installed the trial version on his phone!

Can someone help me with this please!!

You might want to uninstall all version of the app. Use programe like seleQ, go to the drive u installed the app and del all folder tat was used to hold all it files. I am not good at system files but I have notice tat even when u uninstall some apps, their folder remains with some of their old system file. I assume they hold your registration code so the next time u install u don have re-enter it again.

This method I tried b4 and it works. U can give it a try. If there is a better way, pls enlighten mi too. Tks.

Actually i tried doing that.... I uninstalled the app abd then checked e:\ for any folders of photographer or LM but could not find any.

But I thnik what you are saying is true... in some folder somewhere there is information retained on the expiry of the trial version of photographer and that is causing all the trouble. Can someone shed more light on this!!

ok found the solution, there's a folder in c: called cam there is a .ini file in there, if you delete that file and then install photographer it works fine!

could you be more precise as to what didin't work for you??? Here's step by step of what I did:

1) uninstall the "TRIAL" version of photgarpher. After uninstalling check in manager to see if "LM" is showing as an installed app, if yes then uninstall LM as well.

2) Restart the phone

3) Delete cam.ini file in c:\sytem\apps\cam

4) Install the "CRACKED" photographer on you phone

If you follow these steps, you should not face the same problem that I had.

Are you sure you are installing the "CRACKED" version of photgrapher and not the trial version???

yes positive, it lets me use it when i put in a random code

There is a cracked version of Photographer in S60 ISLAND but the link to download is broken it misleads you to the games page, I dont know how to contact them, so If anybody knows how please do tell them about the link.

PS. They have lots of versions but they are faulty this is the only one that works without errors, as they say.

i people! can someone help me. my Photographer doesn't work. It keeps on saying App closed sddaemon! how can i fix it? your sespond is highly appriciated!
