i wonder can anybody help me please, bought a second hand 3510i which i was told locked to virgin.t-mobile, got the codes for unlocking it but cme up code error, put my voda sim in it and it accepts it but wont let me call out or receive calls, i put the virgin sim back in and it works perfect, anybody any ideas

that normally happens if the networks have "blocked" the IMEI number as the phone has been reported "lost/stolen"

how comes it still works with the virgin sim which i got with phone, also it comes up with sim registration with orange and 02 sims

the networks share info with each other but it does not always happen simultaneously..

where did you get the phone from ??

bought it off ebay, does that mean it will be blocked by virgin or just the remaining networks

got the horrible feeling it will spread across all the networks,

get posts on here with people saying the same thing quite often..

your only chance if you have the original receipt from the seller on Ebay with the phone is to go to Vodafone and tell them what has happened..

otherwise...it will make a nice paperweight...but if you go to the other side of the irish border on holiday it might work
