the cobba ic a chip on the pcb board (sorry).
its has the words cobba on it .

its mainly audio related , but has tx-rx functions as well .

alot of phones iv seen which come up with full reception on power up and then a few seconds later reception dissapears have been cobba chip faults (most cases) , however can be other faults as well .
a gentle reflow can be tried out .
