Hi Guyz!

Is there an amiga emulator for the 3650/7650?? I'm looking for it because i'm a fan of the C64 and the amiga! Frodo is working fine and often on my phone :P

Btw, i found an old thread abour the same question, but there were no answer to it! Here's the link! (http://nokiafree.org/forums/showthread.php?t=20990&highlight=amiga)

well i can not say sure but i think that will be very hard to creat a amiga emu for nokia3650/7650 becouse it is too many components that need to be emulated and the amiga emulators that are on pc work pretty bad too :-? but let`s just cross fingers but i think that will be impossible

I'm pretty sure that current phones wouldn't be able to emulate an amiga. You need roughly 4x the power of the machine you are trying to emulate before you can do it properly (or so ive been told) and the amiga was a pretty powerful beast in it's time.
If it did happen it would be the happiest day of my life, just think, civilisation, risk, syndicate, cannon fodder, megalomania, monkey island, brutal sports football, beneath a steel sky. It would be great.
I keep on having problems with frodo. Some roms work but at least half (and it always seems like its all the good ones like target renegade) don't work. An empty dialogue box appears and when i press any key the app closes! Has anyone else had this problem? Is there an update available?

even the gameboy emulator isnt working perfectly fine... there are still some problems here and there.

amiga emulator would be excellent, i know there is an emulator for the p800 called escumm and you can play monkey island on that, how about sega master system emulator for 3650/7650?

@Quake3000:
Ok, there are much components, but in the world of coding is nothing impossible :D ( if i could code MUCH better, i would do it lol, but i'm a hobby programmer )
Hhmm... My WinUAE works very fine with all games! So i had no problems with this AMigaEmulator for the PC!

@yuppo:
Hhhmm, ok that could be, that the performance of the 3650 can't stand this! The Amiga was very powerful, but i don't know the technical data of an amiga and a 3650 ( BTW, Does anyone has a fully technical list of the 3650? Which CPU speed (The CPU is a ARM Processor, that is the only thing i know), how much ram... ) .
Yes i can play all these games on my ( ok,ok, it's the amiga of my brother ) amiga, if i would! It works 100% fine and behind me are standing 4 big boxes of amiga games!! But all this on the 3650 when you're sitting in the train, in the car or on the couch... that would be PHAT!!
I'm having troubles with frodo, too! The game starts, the text and intro of the crackergroup appears and then the screen kepps black! if i press any key, frodo closes!
BTW, i know that frodo comes from the amiga and has been edited for working on the 3650! Frodo was a C64 emu on the amiga

@boo1985:
I don't know, i haven't played much with it! But the only thing i know: i don't have sound in any game

@ceanth:

I think the sega master system is very hard to emulate, too on the 3650! The GameGear can maybe be emulated....

My pc amiga emulator works fine with all games too.
The arm processor is rated at 104Mhz and we have 2.5Mb of ram.
What problems are you having with goboy? If it's the sound then don't worry it's not meant to work, they are going to add it in a future version (who wants to listen to shite gameboy music anyway?). The only other problem I know about is when you use the goboy menu while playing a 2Mb rom. For some reason when you select an option it re-starts the phone.
The master system and game gears are both more likely to be emulated than the amiga since they were only 8 bit compared to the amigas 16. They will still be hard to emulate as consoles from that period used specialised chips which makes it tricky.

hmm... the master system was only 8 bit.... hmm, didn't know :P Ok, the amiga was 16bit, i know! our 3650 seems to be 16bit, too! cause i watched some programs code and they were written with 16bit!

ok, let's see what the future brings! Maybe an emu for the 3650, maybe not, maybe a better mobile who can stand this :D

Ah and thx for the technical data ^_^

I think it was just called UAE. I haven't used it in ages, i'll try and find it when I get home and find out if it has another name or not.

well if it will be emulated on 3650 then it is greate the stranges thing is that amiga 500 have 4096 colors and 3650/7650 have also 4096 colors hope it will be possible :D

Actually the 3650 RISC Arm-9 CPU is a 32bit CPU running at 104Mhz. Look at the screen shots of the new N-gage and then think of the fact that the N-gage hardware is identical to that of the 3650.
