Hi,
I have a Nokia 3310 which I have been having problems with.

The firmware version is 5.79. And the problems is that there are a few buttons that are not functioning correctly. The cancel button, and a few of the number buttons on the left of the keypad dont work, apart from that everything else is fine.

I have tried updating the firmware to a few different versions but the same still happens.

The phone has been repaired by Nokia before but the problem has came back. I am sure that it is a hardware problem.

Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this?

Thanks.

There are two resistor that control the keypad if i not false one is 415 and 414 something like that with white and black and have number on that change one of them if i not false if i get the Schematics for 3310 i will show u the picture of that part

I just flashed the 5.79 flash to the phone and powered it up, and then set the IMEI and updated the FAID and then the buttons worked perfectly for about 5 seconds. Then I had to press them harder and repeatedly for them to work. After about a minute, they just stoped working again.

Any other ideas apart from the resistors?

Thanks

Use my water damage method! It does wonders for these sorts of problems! It's currently here:
