HI, hope someone can help me with this...
Ive gota 3650 which I've installed various symbian software apps, Goboy and other 3rd party stuff, using a Bluetooth connection. +128mb card.
Everything worked fine for ages, until 2day when I turned my phone on and got the msg "Telephone : System Error!" over the top of Enter PIN: I pressed OK entered my PIN and the phone continued its StartUp. But now everything I open generates a "System Error!" eg, "Messaging: System Error!", "Clock: System Error!"
The only big problem this causes appart from annoying error msgs is I cant write text in a SMS msg only numbers!! no matter what i press! Theres no abc. Abc. 123. in the top corner of the msg!?!
Whats goin on with my phone!?
Anyone got any solutions?
Thanks.
Dan.

You need to format the user area (all your data will be lost), look in manual it tells you how to do this *#7370# I think, if you cant' do that then it has to go to someone which a Flasher to sort out, many on here that can do that for you, all depends on where you live I guess.

YOU HAVE WILDSKINS INSTALLED IN YOUR PHONE THATS WHY U CANT TEXT BY LETTERS. WILDSKINS IS THE REASON FOR THIS. BE SURE TO DISBLE IT BEFORE UNINSTATALLING. IF NOT, SAME PROBLEM WILL OCCUR.
THEN RE START YOUR PHONE. IF THE SYSTEM ERROR, STILL SHOWS, PROBLEM IS THAT SOME FILES IN YOUR REGISTRY WERE CORRUPTED DUE TO WILDSKINS. YOU NEED TO DO HARD RESET *#7370*. ALL DATE ON YOUR PHONE WILL BE DELETED.
NEXT TIME, AVOID WILDSKINZ. OR BETTER SEAR FOR OTHER VERSION. MY WILSKINS VERION HAS WILDPALM ATTACHED TO IT. PLUS IT HAS KEYGEN ATTACHED IN THE ZIP FILE.

or you can simply delete system.ini file, how? do the safe mode thing then launch any file manager to delete that file

Hi!

I was searching myself for the solution for my Nokia 7650. I was getting the same messaging system error. I got the solution here itself, so I thought I must help you out.
( I think the hard reset process is same for 7650 and 3650 )
To hard reset - press *#7370# as soon as you press this, the phone will ask you for lock code. Default is 12345. Refer to manual. As soon as you enter the lock code your phone shuts down and takes 2/3 mins before starting again. Then it is as good as new. Only when you do this, make sure your battery is charged or keep it plugged.
