Hi m8s,
every single time I try to open some applications /games that are in jar format /, that are already installed successfully on my phone - says the the memory is full. However, I have about 25MB free space on my MMC and 2MB on my phone. Furthermore, some of those apps used to work properly but now, they don't. Some solutions ? Thanks in advance !!!

I think that the memory it is talking about is the ram. Try closing all apps and compressing your ram will a tool like slauncher, stacker or stools.

If that doesn't work i'd try removing any recently installed apps if that fails remove and re-install all of your java games. You could also check the midp folder in your system menu and see if there are any rogue files or folders that might be causing the problem

If it's still not working it might require a format but there might be another way that i don't know.

Good luck

Yes for sure,
I agree - but I can't see a point of formating the MMC. I'll try to uninstall all of the jar files in the app directory and to re-install them. Cheers !!!

If nothing else works the only option left is a format and not just the memory card, the phone too.

bear inmind that progammes such as launcher, screensaver, sms reminder, etc run in the background even though you don't see them, by closing manually these programmes you will get back your ram, temporarily at least so you can use other programmes, formatting your phone is a bit drastic as it will happen each time you download new programmes,

hold down the menu key and close all apps.

The RAM of the 7650 and 3650 is about 3mb. This amount decreases gradually by installing videos , ringtones , images , contacts and java apps. Symbian applications don't affect the memory in any way. So in order to free memory try deleting some pictures or sounf files or videos or java apps. Also a good way of freeing memory is restarting your phone without a background picture.

C'mon....just restart your phone keeping the pencil key pressed, and you'll free a lot of ram.obviously, you also must use immediatly the java app that won't work.... :-P

Or download system tools, and boot into flight mode. This mode removes the telephone function and frees about 2mb ram more.

Problem solved.
Thanks - I had about 500 pictures from my summer holiday this year saved on my MMC. I transfered them on the PC and now the apps work OK. Thanks to all of you who gave me some different ideas.

P.S. - are the problems with BlacList solved ? Does it work properly already ?
