Samsung A800 not turning on!!!

i have a samsung a800 that wont switch on, i have tried changing the battery but no luck and also charging it but no luck again, anyone knows what to do next

hi guys, to me it sounds as if both your problmes could be hardware related! First of all we need to find out if it is a hardware or software problem?

First take a multimeter and test the battery, we are looking for a reading of about 3.7v. If you have bench test power supply then connect the handset up and see if the handset will power up? look to see if the amp reading is doing anything strange?

let me know what your findings are?

i was able to flash the phonr using a 800 flasher software and it worked well

I have been round and round so many forums and websites and cannot get a straight answer anywhere. I have a samsung a800 which will not turn on, but the light on front cover lights up when pressing on button.

I understand i have to flash the phone but cannot find the .axf and .ogm files anywhere. I am frustrated by being directed to foreign websites and dead ends.

Please can someone give me / email me a way of getting these files quickly and easily.
