Whats the max memory the 3650 can now hold on mmc?

i heard that 256meg card slows down the phone, can someone else comfirm for me that this is ture

some ppl have 512mb mmc cards in there 3650, but all of these ppl own 3650s higher than frimware v2.5, i have tried 8 brands of 256mb mmc in my 3650, none work properly, i will upgrade frimware and mmc when available in uk, the mmcs usually cause systm error, i remember reading one post fom some one who using a 256 mmc burnt out the circuit in his 3650!!

I'm with firware 2.41 and using 256MB MMC without any problems !!! Definitely if u want to use 512 - upgrade with higher firmware than 2.5 - I ensure u !!! Good luck

i wouldnt risk it too many ppl have had their 3650s fried for my liking, ive been searching for the thread but cant find it, i will post a link as soon as i find it

@sens how did you get 2.41?????? i got my 3650 the day of release and it came with 2.50, for 256 it is recomended 3.00+

256mb and 512mb, wow! Does anybody know which brand will work with the 3650? I've read from another thread that "visipro" and "TEC" works. Anybody here with first hand knowledge? I'm still looking for 256mb or better 512mb that will work with our beloved phone.

I have the tech 256mb (samsung relabeled) everything works fine but ETICamcorder pro. No matter what I do, Hard start, reformat, load to phone, load to mem card it doesn't work properly. The only way it works is load to mem card record on phone.
Anybody using 128mb card and does ETICamcorder work for you?

my 256MB MMC is Transcend and with the firmare mentioned above it works without any problems as I told before. I have 64MB MMC Transcend and it works properly, too. Unfortunatelly, when u try to put 512MB the phone meats a lot of slowdown and there is a high lack of the data.

I have a PQI 128mb with version 3.16. ETI Camcorder works fine with me, so far i have never encountered any problem.

Hi there!
I bought a Pdc 256 MMc on ebay(70€ shipment included, a 128Mb here in Italy costs 105€ !!!!!!) ... it works fine but I have problems with ETI Camcorder V1 Pro, when I record the Video it's all ok , but when I go to playback it, the ETI Player play only 1/10 of the lenght !!!!!! for example If I record 30 seconds, I can see only 3 seconds and if I want to wiev the remaining I must push the forward key (right arrow)....
However I tryed also the ETI Camcorder Beta version and seems it works fine also on the MMC .... but the V1 Pro has a better User Interface !!

Does exist other firmware after the 3.16 ??? I've got a lot of problem with this firmware :-? :-?

You need to flash your phone. Either bring it down to your nearest Club Nokia Service Point, or buy a flashing device and download the firmware, and do it yourself. Personally, I'd go with the first option. Flashing devices are very expensive and not much use it you're only using it for one phone.
