I have had this software for a while and have not seen any talk on it on this forum.
its called Fastchat and its so sweet. Myself and 10 or so friends have it and we are a push of a button away from one another.
it runs off GPRS so I in US can talk to some one in Europe on diff network as long as we both have GPRS conection.
i have the Sis file in my group check it out it is so cool.
any one out there have it already Please POST to get the word out.

But if you will be using GPRS then this will be as good as being connected like any other call.. only difference is that you can talk
with more than 6 people... which is better than conference call and cheaper....

ok i quess i should tell you more then.
like i said any GPRS.
so i think push to talk across the atlantic is way better then making a call.
and you can send voice email and IM to computers and back again.
also can send Video and Pics
Check out FastChat.com

Tline, I live in the US also an I use AT&T. I would use this application (and many more like it), but the data cost would seem to be outrageous! How much data do you usually use every month, and what does it cost you?? I'm waiting for AT&T to come out with an unlimietd data plan. Until then, its a no go for me.

Me too. My price plan is £7.50 per Mb over gprs. Tighter than the proverbial ducks arse.

i currently have 10mb a month and never go over using Fastchat.
T-mobile has unlimited GPRS for 19.99.
as far as having to pay, i know it says need to. but i have set up 15 my friends just by sending them the file in my Group and we still have yet to pay anything.

You can get unlimited t-zone for $9.99 - i think that will get you all the same stuff as the $19.99 plan.

That would not be much use as Bluetooth only has a range of 10ish metres....

you are right the unlimited plan is 9.99
and you need a s60 phone currently. there are plans to get a few more phones set up and you can look at those on Fastchat.com
and like i said before, download the file from my Group, install it and sign in only info they need is your mobile number.
myself and all my friends use it all day to stay in touch for the last two months and have not paid a cent.
