3310 no signal (from dubai )

my friend bought a phone in dubai but in SA it does not pick up signal it is a new phone can any1 help plz

:cool: do you test the phone by the time you buy it in dubai, is it work.
how about the simcard, you buy it from dubai too.
maybe is service provider problem, do you try other simcard/service provider.
