most of the apps I download contain the sis file and another .nfo file what is that, and what should I do with it ?

It's just information about the app and who cracked it etc etc. Get yourself a NFO viewer. :)

Like 0295471 said, best view with a nfo-viewer.
But you can also open it with standard windows-notepad.
