3310 ---> 3330 Success

Hello friends
I just had gone through flash and mine 3310 was been converted to 3330 and it work fine but when i try to conevert mine 3315 to 3330 it had a contact service problem i also tryed out on 3310 it aslo gave me same problem which was not cureable bye me.. so any 1 help me out that how can i go first write and then latter wrong i use digen flasher to flash mine mobile

the difference is that 3310s come with different size rom chips, only some have the rom that can fit the 3330 software on it:)

what is your 3310 => 3330 rom size and run on what version of mcu&ppm.i want to upgrade my 3310 to 3330 too.
after you upgrade your 3310 to 3330 do you get the animated screen saver.

3330 can be flashed to 3315. It is officially released in Thailand by one distributor who overstock 3330. They managed to downgrade 3330 to 3315 and resell it as 3315. The full flash size is 4 MB.

To downgrade from 3330 to 3315, use special flash file. There is a full flash at http://ftp.rimc.ac.th/~sujin/3330_3315_v5_45%20full.zip It's pack G (Thai.)

However, there is unofficial method. This is not verify yet.
- Read full flash from 3315 using Rolis 4.78b6 but specify phone model as 3330. You will get 4MB flash file.
- Use that file to flash 3330.
- Fix SP, IMEI, FAID, etc as usual.

3310 => 3330 it' s possible only with a upgrade of software or we are oblige of upgrade the hardware ?

erm...i dun think 3315 can be upgraded to 3330...if only u can change the MAD2 & ram.

but i have tried doing it foolishly in such a way that 8250 to 8855...it failed...but managed to flash it back the original flash. Sorry for the poor engrish. :P

i have sucessfully downgraded the 3330 to a 3315 with that thai flash and it worked without any problems.

how did you do it?

1.what flash file did you use?please provide a full flash.

2. are you sure that you did not change any hardware of your phone?3310 and 3330 fash IC's are different, one is 2MB greater than the other.

hey, some one in malaysia say that new version 3310 can be upgrade to 3350.is there any 1 here know this guy or know how to do it.:rolleyes:

I've heard that too, they can do it, charge about RM60. I'm still confuse, they do it.

Lots of shop in Thailand misunderstand that 3310 can be upgrade software only to 3350. They don't know that it's upgrade to 3315. So, they advertise 3310 to 3350 upgrade and charge for about 5-8 US$. I think that shop in Malaysia also misunderstand, too.

Most of 3315 in mine location can be upgraded to 3330 easly out of 100 i have upgraded most of 80% So just check out your 3315 rom and see wheather it can be upgraded to 3330 As some have higher roms in them..

I think i am right in saying that if you can succesfully upgrade form 3310/5 --> 3330, then it may be possible to ugrade from
3330 --> 3350 (you would have to change the LCD though). It may depend on the size of your 3310/5 ROM whether it works or not though:confused: From there, you could then upgrade to a 3410, if all that works!

So: 3310/5 --> 3330
3330 --> 3350 (new LCD needed)
3350 --> 3410
