Whats going on? How can i get this to work right?

Ok, there are a few possibilities!

1) You haven't selected the correct COM port!?

2) You are using Win2K or XP!?

3) You do not have an autoswitching cable and are using the 'F' setting!?

If the problem is 1, change ports
If the problem is 2, use Knok2K3 or Rolis 1.9
If it is 3, Change switch to 'M'

It seems like you don't know some of the basic concepts of flashing your phone, configuring your cable and using the proper types of program on your cable and dongle, (the last time you posted a problem, you were complaining that a program is NOT working because you included the words NOT necessary on the spaces provided) you have to see this thread, as this will show you all the basics required, If you are NOT sure of what you are doing, better visit the thread and do NOT be eager to touch your phone (this will only cause more problems) just read the proper threads and you're on your way..., this contains all the basics gathered from different parts of NFREE.

Hi.im a newbie.I followed the directions to install the userport settings and when i tried to write what it asked to do, it couldnt do it.

For example it said to write this> In the Process Grant List and also in theThrough Grant List and press ADD

COM2 PORT 3F8-3FF

When you try to type the letters LPT1 or COM1 & 2 in the box it says this: "Wrong syntax. Use "Startadress-Stopaddress" (000-3ff)

Now it will not add it in. BUT if you take away the letters and port and just enter the numbers it will work.But according to the program its seeking the Port LPT1 and it cant find it because it cannot enter it. Whats going on? I use Win XP Pro and i installed the userport correct its running fine.


How do i solve this problem?

I use Windows XP Pro and installed the userport and copied the drivers to the correct folder in the system32 folder under drivers.
And i selected the Nokia 3310 on the Knok95 program. then tried to run the reset SPlock, only to get this message.

OK i got the newer version of Knok2k3 i use WinXP Pro and still no luck at all. I tried the reset SPlock and still same results,
