It's not gonna do you any good unless your car is bluetooth enabled and that is pretty unlikely.

BT works on radio frq. within range max of 30 mtrs.
Car alaram remote works on radio frq. may have more range.
there should be a way to do that thing.

you mean radio waves surley... radio frequency just doesnt make sence, at least in the way your using it.

The range on BT devices is 10mtrs or 100mtrs most of them being 10 and you'll be lucky if your phone does 10mtrs.

yes they both use radio waves, but at completly different frequencies, its like asking to recieve FM radio Via bluetooth its just not going to happen.

a software should be able to make different frq to emit or accept. FM will not be possibe. car alaram remote does'nt work on FM frq.

a car alarm fob transmits anywhere between 290MHz - 410MHz

There are some alarms that use infared. You could use the remote control software to transmit the code to unlock or lock a door

dont you think it will cause harm to IR or BT if we use it in different form?
i mean, we use it to control :
phone to phone
phone to PC
phone to TV/vcd/dvd/component
and now:
phone to car

how about, control:
phone to aircone
phone to washing machine
or even phone to start a car (this will great!)

just a thought!
