Okay, I saw the formatting FAQ but that was for a 7650, I have a 3650, and want to format it, I also have a 64mb mmc card, and want to format that as well, what is the best way to do this? Is there a specific order inwhich I have to format it? How can I backup my calender?
Please help me, It will greatly appreciate it.

Go to your Extras folder.
Open the memory program.
There you can backup your phone memory and format your MMC.
To format your phone memory try STools

Whats the situation where if you dont format the mmc or something the phone wont boot with it after you format, or am I just making that up

I didn't hear about that. Anyway try what I told you I've tried it before and it is working fine.

when I tryed to format my mmc it said App closed 'AppArcServerThread' then it didn't format my mmc, it says it did, but all it did was prompted me for a new name and said it was done.
I tried in regular and 'safe' mode and got the same error message; anyone have some insight on this please

it also happened to me. what i did is i restart my phone to normal or much better in safe mode, then type *#7370# to retart the phone to original settings, then i fomat my memory card.
if it wont work try this:

turn off the phone, remove the memory card, restart the phone to safe mode by holding the pencil button at the same time, then type *#7370# to retart the phone to original settings. then turn off the phone, put the memory card inside, the start the phone to normal mode, then format the memory card. im really sure this will work for u!
