plsss....help me. when my phone boots i can't get into the menu or do anything on it cos it says "system error". i suspect the problem is on the mmc cos without it my phone works just fine..pls do u know any way to format the mmc without having to enter the menu (cos i can't)?

This happens because of a bad application, think of the last one u installed, before it this problem didnt exist, this is what u must uninstall,

and to do this ( since u cant even get to the menu ) close the phone then hold down the pencil/ABC ( Depending whether u have 3650 or 7650 ) key down and in the same time open ur phone, after it completely opened release the pencil button, Now u have entered in the safe mode, simply open the menu and uninstall the app that caused the error ( in safe mode u can open the menu ), to get off safe mode shut down then open phone normally.

If OMENs's answer doesn't work, you should try reformatting the MMC.

Of course, do the pencil startup to get to the format menu for this.

Hi ! Please help......... my nokia 7650 keep on showing " App. closed. Appctrl KERN-EXEC 3" and also system error whenever I go into the Manager & Apps. folder. Kindly advise on how to reset my phone so that this problem will be solved. Actually where is the pencil button? I had tried to reset my phone according to your direction but i am still unable to reboot my phone in the safe mode.

What is Pencil startup & how to do it ?

On a 7650, the key for safe mode is the "ABC" button. Just hold it down and turn on your phone and keep it held untill it boots up.
