It's impossible to find upgrade files for any nokia phone. Even freeGSM has closed and freeGSM team has them only for sale. why does this happen? Is there any site left?

Nokia are trying to cut down alot of these sites. They claim they can because they own the copyright on the software... but I fail to see how that works, read the documents on this site... http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/17/ch9.html.

On Siemens's website,Siemens allow people to download firmware to flash their cellphone. Why Nokia didn't offer the download function?

this was to be expected, people should put the flash images on a ptp like KazAA or Emule (sharereactor.com)..
