Connectivity Probs

Hi there forum members,
I've got a N7650 n my frnd has a 6610, now whenever i try to send him anything via infra-red if alsways fails...? I can only manage to send him business cards through infra-red, they go without any probs, but anything like pics, midi's etc, always fail.. IS there some problem wit his cell..? Coz i can connect via infra-red to my laptop witout any probs...? Help appreciated..

It's a common problem - they can send you, but you can't. Especially in that case of 7650-6610 - different OS that's why.
Connecting and sending data to your Laptop/PC via IR/Bluetooth is something different. Good luck

u can onli send stuff to other symbian fones, except common stuff like business cards. ringtones, games and pix cant be sent to other fones wif diff OS.

i can send pics midi file to my mates se t300 no problem!! but i cant to my other mates nokia7250

yup, tats truth, you also may send pic or other file to SL45, T610... but not to Nokia 725, 6610...

i think nokia did it on purpose, so you only can send by cable or MMS(pay for it)... haha.
