Anti virus software

I got an sis file the other day called anti-virus, since then i have been trying to find out info about it (cos it sounds a bit dodgy to me) but have failed to turn up anything. It is made by f-secure but there is nothing about the series 60 on their website and it comes with a nokia cert but again nothing on their website. Can anyone shed some light?

One for sure, this anti-virus must be installed on phone memory. I almost installed it, and when I found that out, I canceled it.

The only anti-virus that has come out for s60 is a nokia security certificate that earlier software versions did not include... There is no other antivirus!

is there any description of the app, how it works, what's it purpose, etc. There should be something over the Net ? Give some more info. :eek:

300 kb sis file? and the actual up will take about 400kb of memory i guess...

dream on mate! it's a practical joke by someone, might have renamed a non working sis file or even compiled one to make fool of everyone...

I'm not installing it till i find out if it's for real or not. The guy i got it from said he got it from kazaa and installed it. He said it seemed to work but made his phone slower than usual, i reckon he was telling the truth, but whether or not the app was doing anything is a different story.

Well, I downloaded the file and unzipped it and when I established a bluetooth connection with my phone, I double clicked the file. About half way through, an error pooped up saying that

"The process cannot access the file because another process has locked a portion of the file".

So, I tried copying the file to my phone and installing it from there. Again, it gets half way through and an error comes up saying

"Application Error
Zlib"

0r something. Whenever I try to install the file now from either FExplorer or form the App MAnger, it says
"app manager - already in use"

So I can't install it..........

Cheers. At least now im sure it's shite. I'll have to track down the guy that sent me it and insert an ill tempered mutated pole cat into his rectum, that'll teach him.
