How to use irRemote?

I installed Total irRemote into my Nokia365, but don't know how to use it. After I chose the brand name and the type of device on the irRemote, I played around with all the buttons on the control panel of the irRemote and faced my phone's infrared port to my VCR, my VCR didn't have any response.
Can anyone teach how to use irRemote?

well total ir remote support just some of the tv vcr or whateva if you eks chose tandberg tv will it just support some of the tandberg tv`s that are out there! or you can install other codes to the iremote ccf or lirc files get ccf files here http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/files/rcfiles.cgi?area=pronto&db=devices&br=&fc= and search for your device or you can download lirc files here http://lirc.sourceforge.net/remotes/ then you can try if it work :D

Pity how N-Gage doesn't have Infrared or Camera.

I can't use IrRemote on N-Gage ... and I can't use FaceWarp on N-Gage.

I hope television remote controls will be converted from Infrared to Bluetooth :lol: lol

Did you install it in the Phone memory or the MMC ?

If you install it in the Phone memory then it should work.
