send .zip to phne?

hi, i have a bluetooth card on my pc, i download a .JAR game but it comes out as .zip on my pc and when i send it to my phone it says unknown file format.

can ne1 help pls?

Does the .zip file contain a .jar file? If it does, then unzip it and send the file (and a .jad file, if there is one) to your phone.

If the .zip file contains a bunch of .class files, rename the file, so the .zip extension becomes .jar (myfile.zip ---> myfile.jar)

If you can't rename them, the open any folder. Click tools in the taskbar, then folder options, the view, and then "show extensions for known file types." MAke sure there is NO tick in this box.

Just rename zip files to jar before you send it. .Jar files are compressed in zip format that's why the are downoaded renamed. If you rename them to .jar the phone will recognise them.
