Infrared receiving problem

hi all

i have a problem with ir. i can send data to other phones and pc, but cannot receive anything! (using external ir device, linux and irobex) what can cause this?
any experience or solution?

if u can send stuff via infra red, it shld b workin fine.... did u rem switching on the infra red to receive stuff?

yep, the hardware must work fine.
i'm not that dumb :)
i switch ir reception on, and according to the source of irobex, the function do_sync_request returns with a false value.
otherwise, with irdadaump, i can see when my ir and the phone just get connected, there are 0% packet loss...

errmmm... well....
i dont know. just after i backuped all the data to make a hard reset i gave a last chance to the ir, and it worked fine. :-o
maybe some reboots, maybe the full recharge, i really dont know...

Yah, thiz happens from time to time. ye cant help it, just rebot both computer and phone an dit should work.
