smart answer?

I've been trying this prog for several version now, none of them work. Does any of you guys with a 2.5 firmware ever get this to work?

Hi, I have a N3650 which I bought in August. I don't know which version of firmware I have on it but my Smart answer doesn't work properly either. When someone calls me (while smart answer is switched on) they can't hear the recorded message.

Is this the same problem you are having?

Hi. No answering machine software works properly with firmware 2.5. I also used to have that version and that problem.
I recomend you to get a software upgrade at some local service center for mobile phones, or where you bought it. I live in Sweden and here it took 45 minutes and was free as long as your warranty hadn't expired.
Now I use Avista's Answering machine and it works just fine for me but I'm waiting for a serial for or cracked version of Smart answer 1.06.

SmartAnswer needs at least v3.13 to run, else it will not work correct.

Hi, thanks for the tip. One question though, will upgrading my Firmware version erase any data on my phone, or is it just like updating your Windows OS on a PC?

It depends. Normally, you're data shouldn't be erased, but in some cases, the phone won't take the flash properly without erasing some or all data. To be on the safe side, backup your phone's memory, either onto your memory card or pc.
