View Full Version : my phone is dead :(
did a search and most problems seem to happen at the start-up screen but my phone does not even get that far. i know i drained the battery all the way down - plugged it into the charger overnight and now when i hit the on button the screen flashes white than shuts off right away - i tried holding the pencil button to no avail and i tried pulling the sim card and i also left the battery out of the phone still nothing
I plan to buy a car charger tonight to see if that helps
as a side note when i do plug it in i don't see the charing signal
any thoughts??
Thanks
Bass

you may ave flooded your memory, i have done this before, it will not start up till you get it reflashed. If not that then you may have installed a buggy software which interferes with the startup process and causes it to shut down, again happened 2 me before. Let us know what happens.

i first think that its a battery problem, why dont you try using other battery first, if the same problem occur, then the problem might be the display.

Happened to my twice before.. Usually caused by having a inferior version of the firware (3.12 or something)... Take it to a Nokia Service Centre n ask them to reflash it n put a latest version of the firmware (4.46).... It's the only way man, nothing much you can do about it..
Cheers
Thank you all for your help
turned out to be the battery as the wall charger stopped working -
