I'm trying to use Totla IR, but I'm clueless as to what to do. I try setting my phone for my JVC dvd player and stereo, but nothing works. Am I missing something to do, or a few steps? Is there a step by spet way to activate these for my phone?

Ir Remote does not work for every type of device out there. Even still sometimes all it take is trial and error with the optmization feature.

It's gotta be JVC! Had the same prob with my JVC Stereo VCR. I went to remotecentral.com searched for a Philips Proto Code which was for JVC VCR of a similar mfg year, Using the Philips Pronto Editing Software I chopped out the features I needed, and IrDa the resulting file to handy. Total Remote then automatically imports the new codes, you attach them to the appropriate appliance & button, and your cooking with gas.

Mind you, it took me 4 weeks to get codes, software, figure out methods and have solution.

Enjoy

scoby,
whats nice is when u use your ipaq to make your own custom ccf files and then edit them with the pronto software and then throw them on your phone.
