I keep on hearing about this 7650i, some people are saying it will have mmc support, different battery and a better camera others are saying it's the same phone except they've pre installed video camera, real one, bounce and triple pop.
Personally i don't beleive either but maybe someone else knows better.

hmmm very old topic, id prob guess the second option, dont see nokia doing hardware upgrades on the 7650, probably re-release it with a new firmware, which prob be available to current 7650 owners, prob like the rumours of a symbian 7.0 flash for the 3650, oh well like alwasy only time will tell

i have a 7650i. :) (in my country the 7650's that have video rec. are known as 7650i)

Hey jesal i'm in the same country as you are at the moment, i've gota a 7650 n i never heard of anyone referring to it as a "7650i", i've got lots more stuff than a video recorder.. lol

Jeasl man i'm in delhi at the moment, n i sometimes hangout at places like ghaffar market, palika bazaar etc... Haven't heard anyone call it the 7650i yet.. But you're probably rite, some ppl some place probably do call it that...

i think u both dint get wht i tried to say. i have a 7650 but since i have video installed on mine, some ppl in the used mart. call it 7650i, get it. u tend to make cpl of more dollars for it i guess.

Is the video recorder actually built in to the rom or has it just been installed after?

AaaarggggH.. lol there's no such thing as a 7650i, all jesal was saying was that as a marketing scam ppl install any video recording application onto a normal 7650 n they call it a 7650i n sell it for a few more bucks.. There isn't any difference k.. lol
I remember a marketing scam on an indian auction site (www.bazee.com)...
there was this guy charging 1000 rupees for installing nokia's video recording app on the 7650.. lots of ppl actually paid for it..
