I have a MYG-5 on Orange and want to unlock it for Virgin mobile. when I put in the sim card I get sim locked.

Not sure what other details you need or how I can get them?

REVISED MM3 INSTRUCTIONS
======================
To activate the complete HotLine Menu (MM3) proceed with these steps:


1) Take your IMEI number (You can get this by typing *#06# into your phone) [That’s STARKEY, HASHKEY, 0, 6, HASHKEY]
Then a number will be displayed on your phone
e.g. 350825350218227

2) Sum the 11,12,13 and 14 digits of this number.
In the example above this would be ….1+8+2+2 = 13

3) Keep only the second digit - in the example above keep 3
(If you only have one, i.e. the sum of these digits is less than 10 then just keep that one number)

4) enter *226632623XY into you phone (Where X is any number between 0 – 9, and where Y is the number calculated ) In the example above this would be Y=3)
After trying 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 systematically, for X with Y=3, X was found to be =2

So in this Example: *22663262323 + OK (upper right key – Small shortcut key above green call button) will let us enter hotline menu.

You will know when you have got it right because a small black square will rotate on the bottom-right of you phones screen [This will disappear when you turn the phone off – BUT DON’T do this yet ! ]

Then press the DOWN ARROW [i.e. ▼] as though you were going to your phonebook menu, and then press the * [i.e. the STAR BUTTON], give it a second, and Voila ! the complete Hotline options will be available !!!!

These are the options it reveals:

Defragment SMS
Newspaper Erase
Newspaper Code Post(Post office)
Battery status
GPRS parameters

PROM Reading / Writing
This is the one we are interested in !!!!!
You can read the fields by going to "PROM" > READING/WRITING" > OK
then type in the field you want to know e.g. 191,
Take a note of its value with a pen & paper (Make sure you copy these values right !!!!)

BUT NOTE THIS WARNING !!!!!!!!! >>>>
*******VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!***************
Only copy these values with a pen and paper – DO NOT change or alter any of them, as most of them are protected !!!!
If you change them your phone won't work anymore, it will just read SIM LOCKED all the time !
Just press "CANCEL" to exit without changing anything
