OMG i just tried the latest version of Flexicam, it's bloody great. I really can't fault this app, the file size is small, the picture quality is as good as photographer, the zoom zooms in further than camerafx, it supports mmc. All in all a great app and a massive improvement on earlier versions. It's on my yahoo group if anyone wants it (and you probably all will once you've read this). :)

Bandwidth restrictions (something i'm sure you are familiar with,lol). I tested flexicam further and it doesn't zoom quite as far as camerafx, but it's close and a lot lot faster than photographer, it's practically instant (unlike photographers 3-4 seconds). I also just noticed a viewfinder in the top left of the screen that shows you what you are zooming in on with a wee box. It's got pretty advanced quality options too, it lets you change the sampling model whatever that is!

Bandwidth restrictions (something i'm sure you are familiar with,lol). haha you don`t joking?=P lol i hate that bandwidth limit stuff :-P

the file size is small,

jus took a photo with this app on highest qual and stuff, best pic on my fone ive ever seen, looked at file size 420kb!!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF so it is! That's pretty mental, i'd only ever checked the file size of a zoomed pic. The quality is pretty amazing though.

I've found that if you set the colour model to 420 and the quality to 25% it makes a photo that is comparable to the standard app in size and quality.

i tried the link on your groups site and it comes up that i'm not authorized to veiw the page (or download the file for that matter). thought you should know.

THNX Angel Of Death it's realy a good one the quality is excelent but i didn't find any zooming!!
by the way i got it from the limk offered by Dumbo (

if it is. dose it have a zooming option?

Oncethe app opens just push up to zoom. Earlier versions didn't have zoom, i'm using v046 so make sure you have that version.

Its some thing with the jpg compresion, so if you put the quality on 75 % its the same as the nokia cam... hi pic, but with this func you can make the pic a litle bit sharper..

well i wass wondering wy the format of the zoom pictures are 176x132 ??? and not 640 x 480 ???

And wats the Samling Mode good for ?

It only changes to 176x132 when you zoom in a certain distance.

Eh nop, i tried it with one zoom push and the pic is 176x132......
And i use v 0.46

One other weered thing: the Taskmanager from Smartlancher gives a wrong mem status....first i got 1 mb after i instaled Flexicam he gives 1.7 mb ....... oh yeah i'am verrey happy with the extra space that isnt thare.

Eh yep. Don't zoom in and the pics are 640x480.
