Hey all, does anyone know where I can get replacement screen protectors for my 7650.. y'know, like the one that comes on it when its new? I've still got the protector from when it was new on my phone but its getting a bit scratched so I wanted some more.

Cheers :)

I am thinking it is that little plastic thingy that is stuck onto the screen.. 3M and some other manufacturers are making those plasticky thingys and they should be available at any large stationary store..

If on the other hand you are looking at a replacement outer cover for the screen.. No idea..

Hope that helps

Well, actually the problem is not the screen i guess. But the main problem is the glass of the camera !
I still have the plastic protection in front of the glass of my 3650 camera. But after 2 months now it looks bad. I'd love to find something to change it.
How do you solve the problem? Do you think that if i take off the plastic the camera would get damage with scracthes ?
Too bad that nokia didt put the glass in the cover, as it happens for the 7250. That would have been a better solution.
I asked the nokia point and they told me that if the camera gets scartched and the phone is under guarantee, they change it for free.
But i have some doubts...
what about you?

Hmm.. Yes that would be a problem.. What i did was buy one of them orignial nokia leather covers.. The one for the 3650, which is circular and has a thick tab at the back to slide when u want to take photos..

This has been my only solution to help out with the camera glass not being scratched as such.. The cover makes the phone look quite ugly and increases it size, but its strong piece of work, and since i tend to be clumsy and drop the phone a lot, it has helped from my phone not being a million pieces till now.. Actually not a scratch..

Its best not to take the plastic off though..

Hope that gives you some ideas.. If you can think of some other solution.. let me know..

Cheers

I use laminating film. The kind that doesn't need to be heated, but is sticky. If you cut it to the right size, and are carefull not to trap air when placing it...it'll be fully clear, and lasts for months. It's also cheap (Less than $1 USD), and can be found in most large stationary stores.

I use it for cells, watches, anything that might get scratched.

How do u get ur lenses scratched? i mean, since i bought my 3650 i wear my keys and spare change in my right pocket, and my 3650 on my left pocket, and the lense its crystal clear with no scratch at all, so what did u do to scratch ur 3650 in the first place?

I could say that the camera lens protectors are not such a serious problem, not having them. Unfortunatelly, I wear my 3650 in my pocket without any case or cover for it and there are no scratches on the screen or on the camera lenses. Don't worry, but if you admire the idea of having protectors for them, then you could easily buy regular transperant sticks from any shop. Be aware of the air :)

I thought about using that laminating film stuff, but doesn't it leave sticky mess all over the screen when you take it off?

Yeah, I should mention to spend the few extra cents, and buy the "good stuff." ^_^ Then, if you have a problem with residue, just use a mild solvent or glue remover. Apply the solvent with a small cotton swab, and wipe clean with a dry, lint free, cotton cloth.

I've never had a problem. Granted I don't use this with my 3650. My 3650 sits in my neck strap from nokia. That's the best case I've ever seen for the 3650. The camera protecter is excelent.

And, the case is perfect for showing off the phone with it's screen saver, flashing keypad, and/or wallpaper.

i don't have a plastic thing on my lens for 4 months now and i don't have a scratch on it, the lens is a little bit deeper than the cover so all the scratches are on my cover
