New Symbian phones

Right lets have a look at the symbian phones available on the market at this moment:

Nokia 7650, 3650, 6600, Ngage and P800 I beleive ....

What do they all have in common ? A really good new OS but they're all very fat and not very nice looking phones.... This is for the very precise reason that I have moved from my 3650 to a T68i and comparing them nxt to one another, the difference is clear....

So my question is, is Nokia or another manufacturer planning on releasing a new symbian phone smaller and much prettier ?

I don't want a smaller symbian. Most of the space is taken up by the screen so if they make it much smaller you will end up with small close together buttons, which sucks for playing games. 3650 is just the perfect size in my eyes (and i used to be a 8210 owner).

i agree a symbian wouldnt be a symbian without a huge screen, that why i am liking the new p900, same size as a closed 7650, with the same size screen as 3650 with keypad closed, nice spaced keys, and wen you open the keypad the screen gets even bigger, keep in mind i put my 3650 next to a 3210, very similar size, btw before my 3650 i had an 8310 which was very small!

well, i dun really mind big fones, im holdin 3650 and 8310, and i like my big ol' 3650 hehe

a prefer a big phone as they aint easily lost lol plus as Angel Of Death said there easier to play games on cos if the buttons are too close together it makes it hard.was playin bounce on ma mates fone the day its a nokia n it aint out yet n it was very hard cos his buittons r too close together .

I would say that size ain't so important at all compared to what these phones could do.

Man, i have no probs wit my 7650, i don't find it bulky anyway.. n it's much better than all those other small phones from nokia which can't do jack shit compared to a symbian phone.. lol

i strongly agree that a phone without a large screen doesn't impress at all,

-T610: nice phone, but screen too small even they claim it has 65k colour but the image is far far lose to 3650 n nothing much u can do with it cos it not using symbian.

-7250i: same old nokia os... small screen ,boring.

So i hope they can produce a Big screen phone with symbian... just like my dream phone SX1 ( camera+radio+mp3)...what else....!

You know thats funny, cause I changed from a sony/ericsson t68i to a 3650 and have never looked back. The 3650 is hands down far more superior to the t68i.

Thats what I thought right, but at the end of the day what is the point of a phone ? Make calls right ? I don't need all the things da 3650 does like remote control, etc.... just want the classy os with its classy advantage in a phone like the T68i; the 3650 is large phat and ugly I beleive compared to the sylish T68i !!! I am only talking design wise as it is obvious who wins features wise

Well, if u want a stylish phone which at the end of the day just makes call w/o any features and stuffs, might as well u get a Siemens Xelibiri model. Design wise, it kicked t68i in the a**. I'm working at local telco company and we have lotsa phone models to play with. Seriously, design wise t68i never looked nice. Might as well get a Motorola StarTac!!!

actually, 6600 is quite small, compared to 3650. not bad for a symbian fone, onli its v unstable right now.

but the problem lies with p900 is that most games we found is for 3650 and we cant play it in p900.. also the games for ngage cant be played with p900 unless someone changed it rite?? so is there a way or an app doing an emulator role to run symbian 6.0 apps and games for uiq platform??

u mean T68i...it really suck(sorry) but that is the fact, u mean style? yak..., if u support Sony Ericsson, i think T610 is much much better then T68i my friend.

if i were to use a sony ericsson fone, eiter p800 or p900 will be my choice, no other fones come close, not even t610. juz my views.
