Hi,
I posted already once about this, but in the DCT4-forum (What is the difference?), as this forum was somehow locked for me...
*****
My problem is:
I recently dropped my 9210i, for the first time, and it broke (naturally).
They replaced the key-circuit-mattress, or what ever it is officially called, and everything was working again.
Until I came home and noticed that my newly input date & time had not moved, from that what I input at the shop. On the "outside" phone screen was still the exact time when I was in the shop, inside though the time had moved a little further though.
After testing for a while I noticed that the "outside" doesn’t move at all, only when you input a new time, it updates it to the outside-screen, but then that's it, a minute later it'll still be the same time. Inside though (lcd-screen) the time keeps moving as long as I keep the communicator open, and even though I close it still moves for a while, I guess until it goes to some sort of sleep-mode.
Does anybody have any idea why is this? Is there some sort of inside battery, which has run out of energy and therefore the Comm- doesn’t change the time until it is used (ie. using the "real" battery). Or is this still because of the crash, although everything else seems to work just fine.
I'd like to get some opinions from you, especially if there is some easy solution for this, until I take it back to the repair shop. I hope you understood my problem.

I also got a reply from MPRC saying that:
"I have had that problem with many of those. I just reflowed the babseband section and the problem was solved every time. haven't had time to pinpoint the exact source thought."
******
What does reflowing the baseband section mean? Is it something that I might be able to do, or does it require some tools?
Thanks!
