another op logo

hey fellas

I have been researching these forums regarding changing op logo, but when I try it with apps like fexplorer and seleq it still doesnt change. So I tried it manuallly naming a file 310_170_0.bmp (97 x 25) in the
C/system/phone/oplogo/ and nothing. any help?suggestions

You need to name the file with the code of you operator.

310_170_0.bmp is not correct. The operator code is 5 numbers.

Maybe 310_7_1.bmp, or 310_1_7.bmp will work.

My operator is 24201, and my file is named 242_1_0.bmp.

ok, u send the logo to ur fone, den u save it into images. other wise, it wun be "small" if its elsewhere, like in ur mail ( u will see if u try tt way ).

den, u use fexplorer (im using version 1.09), search for tt pic in images, den highlight it, select it as op logo. fone will reboot, and there u go!

perhaps ur fexplorer is wrong version? well, it worked well for me.

I dont know which version I have ,fexplorer,but it has the set as op logo under file menu. which I tried( how do I check what version I have?)


I think it has to do with the file like GeeZuZz posted. Ill try it.

Also how do I find my operator 5 numbers. I checked other websites but dont have so. california US?

in fexplorer, press the 1st button for the settings menu, go to network, info. name of file is the 1 set of number followed by an _ followed by the 2nd set of no.

l name cingular

(cingular)weird because I have t-mobile


so what 5 digit code, thats 6?

Also I tried 310_7_1.bmp, and 310_1_7.bmp and it did not work!

no still nothing, just that stupid "T-MOBILE" in arial.

any one from Los Anegeles or CA. have t mobile and you changed your
op logo. please reply how you did it?

again I tried FExplorer set as op logo nothing
seleQ nothinig
manually naming file xxx_xxx_x.bmp nothing


I used photoshop to make my file 97x25 , .bmp 16 bit


maybe I need to change how I saved the file??

well, juz like in wat i said in my previous post, u cant go wrong doing tt... ermz.... is the file in a folder c:/system/app/phone/oplogo ?

after manual setting it, u haf to reboot ur fone.

I tried

310_7_1.bmp
310_17_0.bmp

then I reboot after renaming (Fexplore: settings:phone:restart)still nothing

I think it has to do with the networks? I have t-mobile but network info
say cingular. (weird beacuse I checked a *http://www.angelfire.com/pro/nokia3650_3/change_oplogo.html web site for network info and dont have info on california t-mobile only
CA cigular and there info was 310_17, weird
