Before i get my 6600 theres some questions that need answering!

1. Is the shitty ram problem sorted what was on 3650?

2.When will it be released?

3. Will it be on orange straight away or will i have to get it sim free?

4. Will all the crackz n shit be compatable?

5. will 256 n 512 mmc's be compatable?

6. is it the phone to get?

1) well, im not sure myself...
2)it will be shipped to countries on 27/10/03, diff places, diff time of arrival obviously.
3)im not sure bout tt, cause i dun live in the same place wif u.
4)yes, they will be compatible wif 6600.
5)some brands, yes. i heard the initial firmware supports up to 128, but some specific brands wif higher mb can be used. gotta check the compatibility of the mmc.
6)yes of cause! but i'd wait for the price to drop, stable firmware, and hear wat others haf to sae. no doubt, it is gonna cost a bomb when it is juz released!

well, im not sure, but wat i tink is, it might not be compatible. juz like sony ericsson p800 and 3650 software. well, maybe someone prove me wrong?

Yeah but the p800 is uiq and the 3650 is s60!

The sendo x is s60 same as 3650 so i should work (in theory!)

The Nokia 6600 has just arrived today in the Philippines...it retails at Php 27,000.00 or $490 US....it looks great...though pricey (the N3650 now only costs Php 15,000.00 or $272.00 US)....ive seen the Sendo SX...damn...i think il go for that if it costs much less than the N6600...im just a bit wary of the after sales support of Sendo if ever released here...unlike Nokia which has many Nokia Care Centers in the vicinity in case the unit bogs down

I am planning to purchase the N6600 here in Manila. Where can I buy it? I asked Semicon in SM but they told me it is not yet available and they dont know when will it be available in their store. Thanks.

the N6600 is available in a store inside Parksquare 1 in Ayala Center Makati. The store name is Selectronics (just across the Jamaican pattie store), I was informed that the Php 27,000.00 price is the base price..meaning it could go higher (tag prices from 30K-32K Pesos)

I think the phone will find its way in the Greenhills Commercial complex in a few days (or maybe its there as i am posting this)... and it could go lower after next year :)...Nokia will be launching its new models for this year (N7200, N7600, N7700) so lets expect the prices of the other phones to drop ( N3650, N7650, N7210)
