7650 Lock Code

I have a 7650 which is asking for a lock code! It is my understanding that this is a security feature to prevent the use of different simcards!? Is this true? If so how can I reset/remove this lock? Any replies would be of great use, thanks again!!!

Yes the security code is a security feature enabled when a different SIM card is entered.

It can be removed with the correct equipment i.e Prodigy, Neelix, Griffin.

I have Prodigy and can remove the security code for €20 + return delivery €5.

just post your imei number and network ur on the network code preferably...but if not like O2UK

then someone will give u the code and instructions for free no need for cables man..

if i see the reply 1st i will get ur code and tell u what to do

He is not asking for the restriction code but the lock code which on a S60 nokia is the same as the security code on a S40.

it normally needs a DCT-4 box it be able to reset it.
