To all the ppl with an N-Gage;
Could you please tell me your honest opinions on them as ive bought one form the states and want to know if its as good as ive heard
(my mates personally think its shit due to the size and the way u have to talk to ppl, but in my opinion its a gorgeous phone with lush features-from what ive seen, i just think that they are jealous that ive bought one)
So if u could lay me off some first hand info on the beast i would appreciate it alot (including the games if u have one, ive got tony hawks comin my way)
Thanks ppl

i won an ngage (thx Nokia!) and while it wont replace my 6100 (personally i like small phones) its acting as a pretty good radio on the train at the moment. I replied in the other thread re connecting to pc suite and in your case that wont be a problem but for me that was a big negative as I dont want to buy a bluetooth dongle. As I havent got around to buying an MMC card I havent used the music player yet and being a tightarse i havent bought any games although i have played a few of them and the graphics quality is reallygood, a lot better then i was expecting given its only 4096 colours.
The headset that comes with it is a big help, a lot more user friendly then the tangle prone one they gave you with the 66/7210 range and if I was to use it as a phone i would do it via that rather then hold it up to your head and elbow anyone within range! Speakerphone is loud and clear too, which I like in a phone. Given my last two phones have been a 7210 and 6100 it was a bit tricky working through the menu but I think it is similar to your 3650, so you shouldn't have too much trouble with it.
Battery life, especially since it I wasn't using it as either a phone or a game deck was pretty poor in my opinion. If you are using it every day for both purposes I Think you will have it on the charger every night before you go to bed.
Really, it comes down to what you want in a phone. Personally I wouldn't spend my hard earned on it, but for the features you get-(big colour screen, good quality game player, Mp3 player, radio, bluetooth etc) its excellent value for money, and I'll think you will like it

Yeah same here, i rekon its value for money thats why i got it. I like symbian, colour screen, mp3 player and radio (they absolutely crank) and all the apps for my 3650.... well just wack em straight on. i put my post paid sim in my n-gage and my dodgy never use much prepaid sim in my 3650. i carry tha 3650 in my car or bag and n-gage in my pocket, so if i see a babe an wanna sneak her pic, i just pull out 3650 and blutooth it to n-gage.
In my opinion i really like it hey and think it was well worth it for $488 Aud. When i seen the layout of keypad on one side i thought sms'ing would be a bitch, but it fully cranks hey, doesnt take long at all to get used to (not like 3650) I think youill rather like it Murda :)
are you using a symbian fone atm, if so what one?

Great phone..
Mp3 Player rocks, Speakerphone is so much better, very few firmwire issues..
Only thing that is dumb is the sync and backup feature, which requires u to have bluetooth enabled on your computers, which considering the phone comes with a usb cable is shortsighted. You might as well sync it with the cable..
Otherwise it is a dream.. I had to loan out mine to a friend of a few days and i am missing it already.. Its not that my 3650 is bad.. It just that the NGAGE is better for what i want it to do..
<Counting the days till i get my NGAGE back>
Cheers

cheers lads, all my mates say "oh why u getting an n-gage, its shit and its massive"
But in fairness, its only a little bit smaller + bigger than my 7650, if i open it all the way its a bit bigger than the n-gage(length wise, according to the website, as i havnt go it yet) and a little bit bigger than my phone width wise
its lighter than my 7650 and a bit thinner. They ask why? I say due to the fact that my 7650 only has a 4MB internal memory with no MMC support.
They also say it looks gay when you answer the phone, but thats what the headset is for : )
Goodthing i have a bluetooth dongle or it would be a pain in the ass to transfer contacts, movies(unless u can use USB for that) etc
I reckon that they will be asking to play on tony hawks in college
Or i just think that they are jealous that im getting one(except one mate who gets my 7650 when my n-gage arrives)
ive paid £160 for shipping, the phone/game deck and tony hawks, thats an amazin deal tbh and i get £70 for my 7650, so all in all ive paid £90 for my n-gage : )
ill let you all know my opinions of it when i get it
thanks all

Hey all. Can you use the bluetooth headset to talk on with the N-GAGE? That way you wont have to look like a spag everytime you want to talk to anyone.
Thanx,

@ f$%#in good idea tzeonn.... wonder if theyll do it.....
BTW tzeonn are you hangin for a 6600 or you gonna keep your 3650 for a while????
@ The Don.... dude thats a good question...... would be swell if you could, even to listen to the mp3's throught the bluetooth headset..... I wonder if you chose to select the radio function the N-Gage would have a spack bcoz it uses the lenght of the normal headset as the FM radio antenna hehe ....good question :)

well, im hanging on my 3650 for now. 6600 is new, expensive and unstable, and there are so mani doubts bout tt fone, like how much ram and so on. i'd rather wait. wat i want now, is ngage as my 2nd fone, real cool eh? ngage is a veri good fone, radio, mp3, more ram. darn, gotta save up for it. but in future, i might change my main fone to 6600, or some other better fone.
