How does it work?

When you buy one of our mobile phone CD-ROMs for £20, you are entered into the matrix list for free. When the required number of new members join, the person currently at the top of the list will receive their chosen handset.

It is important that you understand how the system works before you participate. In the example below, five new members are required to subsidise each free mobile phone. Mike has joined at the top of the list - he will receive his handset after five people buy a CD-ROM. Kerry is next in the list and she will receive her new mobile afer another five people have bought the CD-ROM.

Don't spend your money. These such scams are illegal in the US. I saw this on Ebay, and reported all three to the Internet Crimes Division of the FBI. This particular site is not based in the US, so I can't do anything about it.

But, how it works is; everyone mails this one person $x amount of money. Then, the person uses some of the profits to buy a few people phones. Once others see it working, the money rolls in by the hundreds per day. Then, the person disapears, and you're out $x amount of money.

This is a scam. It has been around in the US for over 2 years, and has even been in Taiwan for 6 months. In Taiwan, it is also illegal, and they will prosecute fraud charges.

I say again: DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY. DO NOT SIGN UP. THIS IS A PYRAMID SCHEME. IT IS ILLEGAL IN MORE THAN A FEW COUNTRIES. YOU WILL NEVER SEE A PHONE. YOU WILL ONLY BE OUT $X AMOUNT OF MONEY.

chill out Louis6507 its not a pyramid scheme, an example of a pyramid scheme is where you pay for a spot in the pyramid, on this site you are paying for a product so its different.

as i see it, its worth the gamble. it is possible i could lose the money i invested- but i would still hve the games cd. or it is possible that this is legit ( remember i know people that have got their phones from here) and i could get brand new phone in a few weeks.

i think everyone should read thoroughly through the site before they start telling everyone not to do it

Yes. That's the point. He gets the 25x20 from the people EACH of which will have to find other people to get the phone. These new people EACH will have to find other people....
This IS the pyramid scheme with exponential growth. You can do some math to find out when the required number of people will exceed the population in UK!
AND in such case, there will be a lot of people who have no chance of getting phones! This is not fair! The total organization is deceiving the new members. That is why this is ILLEGAL!

True. The point is: the later you attend the 'big_chance_big_favor_organization', the less chance you have to ever get a phone.
And the bottomline is: you are stepping your feet over the people you "recommend".

I repeat. Noone will give you those phones for £20 plus 'recommending' several other people. They will give you the phone for £20 plus persuading some other people to pay for the rest of the money for your phone and the organizers' profits. Big cheat!!!

Please be careful when you say "you obviously havent read". I know that I have read it. And you cannot know even if I have not. Unfortunately you seem not to have read what I have written.

I did not say "they (will) be standing on your feet???????"; I rather said "you are stepping your feet over the people" which was meant to say YOU are using them to climb up (they are below, your feet is over them. See?). It is no different whether you recommend these people, or they come by themselves. They pay for you to get the phone plus the organizers' profits. So, YOU and the ORGANIZERS are using the other people's (new members') money.

Other than that, I did not say that you do not have a chance of getting a phone. I rather said you DO have chances of getting a phone if you find (or if there are) enough number of people to fill the places below. I also said that the later you attend the pyramid, the less chance you will be getting a phone because the pyramid is growing exponentially, and it WILL explode.

Clearly, the money paid by new members is partly used for older members in the above levels of the pyramid and partly for the organizers' profits.

Hence, at ANY time instant, there members who have paid, but got nothing in return (except the CD perhaps!). Please pay attention: This is true at the first week of the start of the pyramid, or the second week, or the third week, or at the time this thing finishes.

Woah, Someone's getting screwed over! It's The New Members, and plus it is a pyramid scheme because the CD only has freeware, shareware and public domain stuff, which you can find anywhere. This costs about $AU70 and that's a lot of money. To put it in perspective I got my 3650 for $AU250 because Of a silent auction. This pyramid expands exponentially thus making the people who join now will get there phone, when it costs hardly anything. I don't care about this but I hope no-one has been tupid enough to do this scam. For A Hint I am Under 21 and I recognize this as a scam.

Hey Guys, Ive been viewing these boards for a while now and have learned many things from you guys about my phone (The excellent 3650) By the way that virus game is kick ass. Ok my main point. The mobile matrix isn't a scam. it works!!! how do i know this?? becuase ive had in total 8 phones from there one of which included my 3650 im using now, a 7250 for my bro, and other 3650 which i have got for friends and family. The simple answeer is that everyone who knows about this knows that there is a waiting list tat people must wait on for other people to join to pay for your phone for you. BUT!!! this cycle happens over and over you join!! and then the next 26 people who join pay for your phone. i know this sounds like a scam but honestly i thought it was when i joined it but i just thought at the end of the day its £20!! and if it takes a month to get my phone then hey!! ive still had a good phone for £20. By the way my 3650 tooks just over 3 weeks to get to me!!!! and it was boxed and unlocked straight from nokia!!!.
But!! the whole thing will soon slow down! so the best thing to do if you are willing to give it a go is to join it quickly before the lists slow down which means it'll take longer for you to get to the top of the list.
like i said i thought this was a scam but it really isn't!!! it's just giving people their chosen phone by using other peoples money to get it first! but like i said even if it takes 2 months at the end of the day you've just got a 6600 for £20! which im currently waiting for, if you look on the site you will see they are awaiting release of the phone before they can ship mine and the other few at the top!! i joined the list for the 6600 on sept the 28th and now it's ready to be shipped to me as soon as it's released and they get the stock. sorry guys but you've got some bits wrong anyone could set this up! oh and from looking at the cost of the phone striaght from a warehouse and the amount of people that it takes to buy a 6600 (which is 26 by the way) you will see that the person who runs the matrix only makes roughly £2 on each phone!!

Just thought i'd let you know this has wrked for me nearly 9 times now!! just waiting for my 6600.

i have also noticed that the site hasnt been updated much recently, apparently he went away for a week and there is a massive backlog of orders.
i dont mind that it is heaps busy because it only means that ill get my phone quicker

hmmm that all seems really dodgy, i rekon if you wanna get a mob, hunt around!, find a good safe deal from a reputable shop and buy it. This way you will have a warranty, normal packaged acessories and peice of mind. Well ne way thats what i do b4 an upgrade. :)
